This is a sharpening / honing jig for chisels and plane Irons. .It can be adapted for various bevel angles and chisel widths . Tip1: To Speed up finishing edges prepare all used whetstones to be the same height. that way you have to adust the grinding angle only one time during whole process. Tip2: To adjust the jig to the existing angle of a chisel quickly and precisely, paint the bevel with a Sharpie, adjust the reqired angle by eye. Then scrub the chisel lightly over the Stone. the grinding marks will tell you immediately which way to readjust. Print Settings Printer: Prusa I3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3mm layer Infill: 20% Notes: All Parts PLA, except Roller sleeve Soft PLA. Roller sleeve is printed in spiralling mode Post-Printing Assemble as shown on Photos. Various M5 and M6 screws and nuts are needed. I added extra brass washers as bearings on the roller, works ok but dedicated ball bearings would be perfect. To prevent slipping I glued a little piece of sheet rubber to the roller clamp.
