Chording Keyboard Snap Components
thingiverse
These are the parts you need to build your custom Chording keyboard. The project is still under development, but it shows great promise. Based on an affordable and widely available button: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NWFZCQC. The second version of the button holder prints more quickly and allows for a 4D nail as a hinge point. This upgrade retains the wire holder, minimizing waste. As a result, you can place switches at any angle within a 90° sweep. Making custom button caps further enhances this functionality. Even without custom caps, the setup allows for adjustable angles ranging from 0° (buttons pressed flat with the left key engaged) to +90° (switches facing inward). In addition, you can achieve a -60° configuration where the buttons face outward. A smaller hole for one pin provides a snug fit, holding everything in place. Please let me know how your build progresses, especially if you plan to construct multiple keyboards.
