Instructions: Fit all 5 pieces flat into the large rectangular tray. This puzzle might not look hard at first, but it can be a bit trickier than you think. Idea: I noticed 2 unintended solutions in Coffin's revised puzzle with one being exceptionally simple, so I decided to change the puzzle myself. I modified 2 pieces slightly in a way that kept the properties of no identical or symmetrical pieces, and removed the unwanted solutions. Everything else is the same, so you can download only the 2 changed pieces in coffin.christmas-2001-modified.only-changed-pieces.stl. As Coffin stated, it is not known how to be mathematically certain there are no unintended solutions, so although I have done some testing by hand and on my computer, I can't guarantee there aren't any. Credit to Stewart Coffin for his revised(the version this is based on) puzzle "Christmas 2001." Credit to asiegel on thingiverse for making the 3d models, and very kindly providing puzzlecad which allowed me to make this modification. Credit to the developers of BurrTools for a program that helped me do some testing on this puzzle.
