Christmas ornament (photo) and fridge magnet

This is a photo frame Christmas ornament and refrigerator magnet. You can also use a bit of double sided tape to attach it to your computer monitor. Best printed in clear because you can attach it to a Christmas tree bulb and it will glow. The photo should be cut with a 2.5" hole punch or you can use scissors (there is a 2.5" ring you can print to use as a guide.) Recently added a version with a snowflake flare. VERY IMPORTANT: The photo is embedded, therefore, you must pause the print at the end of layer 8 (1.6mm) and insert the photo at that time. I usually wait until layer 9 starts and makes its circles. Takes about 15 minutes after the print starts. After that, the printer will lock the photo in place. I tried a non-embedded version where you glue the photo on but its just not as nice as the embedded photo and the embedding shows off the power of 3D printing. I included the sketchup source file if you want to change the design. There is a small loop for a Christmas tree ornament hook, or you can just plug it on to a Christmas tree light bulb. There is also a hole for a 0.315 diameter Neodymium disc magnet which should snap in or you can use a drip of super glue so that the photo can be enjoyed year around. It takes about an hour to print. The print bed heat does not seem to affect the photo. I used granular segments on the circles to make them as round as possible and you can plug it on to a light bulb from either end (pointing up or down.) I'm a beginner at 3D printing and CAD tools, so, I'm sure it could use some improvements, but it's not bad. I use a Canon Selphy photo printer to print photos and then the hole punch. 2.5" seems about right for a 4x6 print but sometimes you have to scale them down. Makes fun Christmas gifts to give to family and to show off your 3D printing skills.
