Christmas PCB Tree rechargeable base

Christmas PCB Tree rechargeable base

thingiverse

This model is to make a base for the 3 colour pcb christmas tree. Originally the tree is meant to be ran on 3 AAA batteries or the 5v cable. This modification allows for the use of an 18650 Lithium Ion battery with charge and protect board to run the tree instead. The charge and protect board does have 5v input solder pads, I chose not to wire these up to the dc jack input on the PCB Tree and have the Micro USB accessible. The wires were soldered onto the battery ends and covered in Kapton tape. CA glue was used to glue the charge protect board in place and a little under the battery. The model was a bit on the tight side I used a knife to scrape some of the inside lip until it popped into place, there are little overhangs in the corners if someone would like to put a screw through the PCB Base corners for mounting.
