Christmas Story Leg Lamp XL

[I also added the STL.zip in case "Download all" link doesn't work] XL version of the beautiful leg lamp. I redesigned it in the following way: 1. The base contains some space inside for switch, led driver board, and maybe some weights to make it more stable. 2. The base and the leg became a single part. This stabilizes the print of the leg. Leg has a hole through its entire length - print with or without infill, no need to drill afterwards. 3. The shade is now smooth and doesn't feel like a low-poly version. I also made it thinner and added a top cover so it becomes a perfect night light (doesn't illuminate the ceiling). Cover, board mount, shade, and led mount do not require anything special to be printed. No raft/support, 10% infill, ez-pz. For the lamp itself printing might be a bit tricky. It obviously requires support and I suggest you to be creative with support blockers - place them strategically to simplify support removal. I put 3 long blockers at 120 degrees to each other (Y) to split the support in 3 parts. Also don't forget to block support in the cable hole. Glue the board mount piece into the rectangular indentation. For the shade top cover you can simply print it, but in this case top will be a shiny surface from a build plate and it just doesn't look good. So I printed it on a thin 3-layer raft just to maintain the texture consistency. I used this switch: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D27P9GV And the LD06AJSA LED driver: https://www.amazon.com/NA-30-1500MA-Control-Adjustable-Constant/dp/B08MFBXM21 For the LED I took a 3W CREE LED I had lying around. I made an improvised heatsink from a copper foil, glued it to led mount passing the wires through the side holes, and glued the LED to the heatsink using thermal adhesive. USB cable... well, just pick the oldest one from your box of cables. :) Finally, close the base with the cover and fix it using a #4 wood screw.
