Customize your own Christmas tree with a design inspired by philwild's creation on Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:185040). The model allows you to adjust the height, diameter, wall thickness, number of "arms or twigs," twist angle and direction. You can also add a hole or ring for hanging, as well as a base circle. Printing this tree can be challenging, with adhesion to the bed being the easiest part. If you print without the foot, stability may be an issue due to limited contact with the bed. However, adding a small foot increases the contact area to 5mm. The most difficult aspect of printing is the top, as the nozzle hovers in one spot, transferring heat to the print. To prevent warping, use PLA and set a fan to 100% or try printing multiple trees simultaneously for better cooling.
