<a href=“https://www.youtube.com/CJzHTgSzAbc”>UV Reactive Christmas Tree Earrings</a> Updated: I have added a version two that puts the ornaments and the star on top of the tree. So if you print v2, use the tree color first, then your ornaments and star color second. In version 2, the star and ornaments are 0.6mm above the tree. These are classic Christmas tree earrings. There are more earrings in my <a href=“https://www.thingiverse.com/kendel3d/collections/winter-holidays”>Winter Holidays Collection.</a> <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/kendel3d/collections/xmas-tree-ornaments">You may also be interested in my Christmas Ornaments Collection.</a> I will be uploading several more ornaments and other Christmas related files. Thank you.</strong></font> Other things I've created with this UV reactive filament: <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3156070">Hummingbird Earrings 2 colors</a> <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3148982">Hummingbird Earrings</a> <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3143181">Shamrock Earrings</a> <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3051279">Turtle License Plate Holder</a> <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3050446">Turtle Keyfob</a> These earrings are 2mm thick. The backing is 1mm and the top green layer is 1mm. I printed it with a 0.2mm layer height, giving it a total of 10 layers. To print the top in a different color, edit your .gcode file and search for the line "; layer 6", without the quotes. Insert the code "M600" on a new line before or after this line. This will pause your print and probably retract your filament, allowing you to change to a different color. Check your printer's firmware documentation for how it handles the M600 code. If you are using Simplify3D, you can enter the following code in the "Additional terminal commands for post processing" box on the "Scripts" tab of your Process file. {STRIP "; postProcessing,"} {REPLACE "; layer 6," "M600\nG92 E0\n; layer 6,"} Try to use the same type of plastic for both colors. In this example, I only had the green in PETG and the UV yellow in PLA. If you have to mix them, use the hotter temperature of PETG to print both plastics. Don't forget <a target="_blank" href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07K1999MY/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B07K1999MY&linkCode=as2&tag=maker3d-20&linkId=3ff4c3095b9b9b403d18a2227c9ac15d">Christmas Tree Ornament Hooks!</a><img src="//ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir?t=maker3d-20&l=am2&o=1&a=B07K1999MY" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" /> I like these because they snap on and off. <a target="_blank" href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07K1999MY/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B07K1999MY&linkCode=as2&tag=maker3d-20&linkId=e8a831b8f075deb9172a8af3072a841f"><img border="0" src="//ws-na.amazon-adsystem.com/widgets/q?_encoding=UTF8&MarketPlace=US&ASIN=B07K1999MY&ServiceVersion=20070822&ID=AsinImage&WS=1&Format=_SL250_&tag=maker3d-20" ></a><img src="//ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir?t=maker3d-20&l=am2&o=1&a=B07K1999MY" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" /> This is a <a target="_blank" href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FXLTSI6/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B00FXLTSI6&linkCode=as2&tag=maker3d-20&linkId=cccd537eaea672a7b08b77f5c0d0f41e">great ornament container-organizer</a><img src="//ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir?t=maker3d-20&l=am2&o=1&a=B00FXLTSI6" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" />. <a target="_blank" href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FXLTSI6/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B00FXLTSI6&linkCode=as2&tag=maker3d-20&linkId=70894abf46811a2af3970acf741b91ad"><img border="0" src="//ws-na.amazon-adsystem.com/widgets/q?_encoding=UTF8&MarketPlace=US&ASIN=B00FXLTSI6&ServiceVersion=20070822&ID=AsinImage&WS=1&Format=_SL250_&tag=maker3d-20" ></a><img src="//ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir?t=maker3d-20&l=am2&o=1&a=B00FXLTSI6" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" /> I also like these <a target="_blank" href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01E0H9KFY/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B01E0H9KFY&linkCode=as2&tag=maker3d-20&linkId=b175d8ddb6276fbb8c0815f829084313">Xmas tree extension cords with a built-in foot switch</a><img src="//ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir?t=maker3d-20&l=am2&o=1&a=B01E0H9KFY" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" />.
