I only fixed/modified a few details in the original stl-file from Firebulb: * most importantly, I cut off about half a millimetre at the bottom in order to allow the entire star-shape to touch the build plane. In the original file there was a gap between in some places.(more on this modification below). * I scaled the model up to me about 275 mm in height (the original is about 200 mm) for two reasons: 1. so that the (thick) tip of our Christmas tree would fit into the hole, 2. to make the ornament more robust and to make the smallest details at the tips of the star printable. The latter didn't work, as you can see in the pictures. * removed a small particle that was hanging in mid air (not sure it even matters, but I wanted to prevent the slicer from building support underneath it, or something) * For the second half of the start, I mirrored the model in the XY-plane to make sure that both halves perfectly align (this was necessary because the model is not 100% symmetrical.
