Chromecast Audio Stand

Chromecast Audio Stand

The Chromecast Audio looks a bit awkward sat on the desk with wires poking out of it in opposite directions, so I designed this stand which hides the USB cable and shows it off. First insert the usb cable through the bottom of the stand, then through the front.Plug the cable into the Chromecast audio and the push it into the stand - it's designed to be a snug, friction fit. Once it's in, plug the audio cable into the top. Print Settings Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .2mm Infill: 15% Notes: The holes and channels for the USB cable makes this a bit tricky to print. I printed this with PLA, face down with supports generated by Simplify3D which worked well. How I Designed This Designed in Fusion 360 to hold the Chromecast Audio up, support and hide the USB cable.
