Chubby the Ant weight Bot

Chubby the Ant weight Bot

Hi, This is my first proper CAD/3D printing project. The purpose for this project was to help me understand how to use AutoCAD and use my 3D printer successfully with my own designs. The main aim for this one was to successfully design a fully functional ant weight bot. Although over weight (204g) it does fit within the dimensions for the ant-weight class and works very well. I've used components i already had so using a skinnier wheels, smaller battery and smaller RX i'm sure you could drastically drop the weight down. The servo I've used isn't really strong enough for battle use but has enough power to muck about with small objects. I'm sure using a stronger servo would solve this. All parts can be printed without supports. I've used PLA Parts used: 1 x Turnigy Nano Tech 2 Cell 7.4v LiPo Battery 1 x RadioLink 8ch Reciver 2 x N20 100RPM Motors (500RPM would work better though) 2 x Arduino Wheels 2 x Bi-directional Speed Controllers (modified) 1 x MG90s Metal Geared Servo (9G) To screw the whole lot together I've used 1.7 x 7mm self tapping screws (you will need to drill the holes needed) Questions and comments welcome!
