Circle test part
thingiverse
I was eager to put my Craftbot through a series of rigorous tests, specifically focusing on the precision it offers when creating circular patterns along both the x and z axes, or essentially making horizontally and vertically aligned holes. As such, I designed this small but essential test piece that boasts ten perfectly placed holes ranging from 1mm to an impressive 10mm in diameter. Unfortunately, my prediction is that the smallest hole may only become visible when using exceptionally fine print settings. Regardless of that potential limitation, this little creation presents a perfect opportunity for users to witness their printer's capabilities with ease and observe how accurately it handles holes, all without overloading their equipment. I possess a collection of large components replete with precision-cut holes, some of which haven't quite lived up to expectations due to inconsistent performance from my machine. This small test piece serves as another means to gauge my Craftbot's reliability when it comes to crafting complex shapes that necessitate a precise handling of holes, making it an integral part in fine-tuning its performance for all future prints. **Print Settings** * **Rafts:** They are unnecessary for this design. * **Supports:** Ensure you select 'Yes' to ensure optimal stability throughout the print process. * **Notes:** Experiment freely with any desired resolution setting - your printer's full range will undoubtedly provide valuable insights.
