Print in place Circular Collapsible Bowl/Basket I would first like to give a shout out to 3DPRINTINGWORLD whose work inspired this design. His basket design is https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2901274 This Circular Collapsible Bowl/Basket uses the same collapsing technique as 3DPRINTINGWORLD's design, but incorporates a new handle system to collapse flat, hang as a basket, or support itself as a bowl. The octagonal cross section of the handles allows for this versatility, while still being a simple design easily produced by desktop FDM printers. As designed, the octagonal holes are 6mm wide, while the octagonal handles are 5.9mm wide. In my experiments, this 0.1mm offset provided a good fit between "peg" and hole. Not all materials or printers however are the same, so I have included a testing peg that can be printed quickly to test the fit before printing the handles.
