Clarinet Mouthpiece 1.0

Clarinet Mouthpiece 1.0

This was originally designed to be a copy of a Vandoren B45 but the CAD work and precise measurements proved to be too complicated to do it justice Instead, this is a just barely functional clarinet mouthpiece. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5L0RddOFvb8 Printed on a Fablicator www.Fablicator.com Instructions Print with no larger than .25mm layers, and some support is required. Once printed, you will need to sand the facing and rails so they are absolutely even and smooth. You will almost certainly need to adjust the reed tip spacing and perhaps the tip curvature to make it playable. This is not recommended for somebody who has never played before, as carefully adjusting the reed tip curvature and spacing is very hard to do well. (Even I'm pretty bad at it) On the bright side, if you mess it up too badly you can always start over for cheap ;) No cork groove is included, but a piece of tape on the joint section works quite well.
