When I was growing up, yo-yo's were huge, especially those that claimed they could sleep. People would do incredible feats of skill on these little spinning disks. I still recall seeing a Japanese yo-yo for the first time and thinking, oh what's cool about it? Not my game; give me my Nintendo 64 anytime! Nowadays, kendama are everywhere, with folks from all ages putting their skills to the test, juggling those little cups as if by magic. Inspired by these whimsical creations, I wanted to bring this model into being - an homage to its charmingly minimalist design. This amazing little kendama toy is constructed of three individual components, which all fit snugly together when properly assembled. The cup effortlessly glides onto the slender stick, while a delicate string keeps the cup securely fastened to the ball's orbit around it. Make sure your fill rate for this part isn't too low - otherwise that precise piece won't be reliable enough. Assembled without its center, this delightful kendama measures out roughly 6.25 inches long, by approximately 2.75 in height, and slightly more at about 1.75 in width; a delicate package to say the least! And when adding the main event (a 2.375 in sphere), magic happens! Your imagination knows no bounds as you experiment with it; now I eagerly look forward to all those creative new moves!
