Doric Column, Since it was first created to modern times no architecture or civilization modern or ancient has been able to equal or match the harmony the divine perfection proportions and the functionality of the Classical Architecture. Being credited as Greek Architecture that is incorrect. Doric Architecture originates 900 BCE 1000 BCE mythology and ancient tales say that it is the architecture of Gods. Dorians were not Hellenic/Greek Tribes, they were Barbarians who descended and invaded the Hellenic Empire from up North. Even Dorians themselves wrote they fought of the invaders and took back their ancestral Pelasgic Lands. Hellenic Empire was first set up in Crete 900-800 BCE with King Minos of Crete being the most ancient Hellenic Ruler who were of Egyptian Royalty Descent. They were Hllens from Helious sun worshipers same as the Egyptian RA. Even their language the Athenian Attic Greek its origins are Non-Indo European Phonetician Alphabet and Hebrew language. Classical Architecture is indigenous to the European Continent. It originated developed perfected in the Balkan Peninsula. It is said that the Gods touched down and gave the gift of Architecture and Science and Art to primitive Man. It might look simple Doric Order or Doric Column is unlike anything seen before. In its dimensions and proportions lie divine symmetry and relations. The column is influenced by nature, As you go from the Base to the Top it gradually narrows like a growing tree but this is not some random this was designed and narrowing is in direct relation to the diameter at the base and at the top and the height of the Column. When we look at the Doric column for some reason subconsciously the human eyes observer and as the brain processes what the eyes see we find it very appealing to look at. This was designed specifically to speak to the subconscious mind and connect to Divine Order of things. So our Mind our subconscious mind looks at it recognizes the relations and proportions which are in harmony with nature and we find it appealing to look. Hence the Divine Architecture. Functionality. Despite the hidden relations and divine proportions the column design serves a great functionality. With a narrowing and wide at the base column you have a stronger column which can support more weight, you use less material and you can build higher and higher structures. To take it further. The Columns and Classical Temples were not straight. They were constructed in such a clever and advanced way that they twist and bend to correct the flaws in the human vision so when the human looks at it looks straight but in fact it is not. That also serves as a functional aspect which makes the temples stronger and evenly and equally distribute the forces throughout the structure. Truly Architecture of Gods.
