Classical Guitar - String Spacing Jig for Nut

Classical Guitar - String Spacing Jig for Nut

thingiverse

This is a little jig I designed in order to accurately cut the initial string slots in a bone nut for my classical guitar. It is designed for a 50mm wide, 6mm deep nut with 8.6mm between each string, and offset 0.5mm so the high E string is 4mm from the edge of the nut and the low E 3 mm. The slots of the jig are designed to snugly fit a StewMac 0.028" nut file.
