Claude Lorrain (1600 – 23 November 1682) was a French painter, draughtsman and engraver of the Baroqueera. He spent most of his life in Italy, and is admired for his achievements in landscape painting. Rodin was a huge fan of his works, featuring his paintilly style in a few of his sculptures, notably this portrait of him which was executed in 1892.   This object is part of "Scan The World".
