Clay Extruder Dies

Clay Extruder Dies

thingiverse

Used in a ceramics studio to create interesting shapes by extruding clay through the holes. A large dedicated tool, usually wall mounted and with a long handle, is used to force the clay through the dies. This one took about three hours to print on a Replicator 2. Files were created in Sketchup and exported. Credit to @BethieLambert for the idea and creating the files. Instructions Replicator 2, 4 shells, 25% infill, 235 degrees. The die is about 0.5" thick, which holds up (so far). It needs to be sturdy.
