A redesigned model of a »Clear Tone Mute for Trumpets« which is based on a Clear Tone Mute, I often used with my trumpet, in a band with four other enthusiastic amateur musicians.The type of the original »CLEAR TONE MUTE« is a called * NEW STONE LINED * and made by "HUMES & BERG, MFG. CO., INC., East Chicago, Ind. (USA)May be, that my design proposal is feasible and could be manufactured from three different materials only:- Sheet metal (Aluminium)- Brass- Corkand aditional an adhesive (may be 2-components) for a tight fastening of the cork.I'm sure, that my design proposal is much more expensive to manufacture, in comparision with the original.But there are also much more possibilities for good different appearances.I think about anodized aluminium sheet metal in colors, which a customer prefer (for example "black/ red/ gold" for trumpet players in Germany or Belgium).Available data:STEP-file of the complete assemblyFiles in a zipped folder for users of »PTC Creo Parametric 2.0«Comments and/or "Likes" are appreciated.
