Anyone involved in sports played on dirt, mud, or grass knows the frustration of having their cleats get clogged up with grass and mud. While cleats scrapers and brushes have been around for a long time, and can be found in any baseball dugout, it is often a problem to get the mud out from between the prongs of the scraper quickly, easily, and with out getting your hands dirty. This problem is solved by Cleat Buddy! Cleat Buddy operates the same way as a typical cleat scraper with elevated prongs scraping mud from the bottom of shoes, but Cleat Buddy also has a cleaning plate stored in the body with prongs that extend between the scraping prongs to push up any mud or dirt trapped between the prongs to be easily swept away. Cleat Buddy's lift plate is stored in the body and raises when the pedal on the side of the body is pressed. Cleat Buddy utilizes a simple lever and pedal lift mechanism similar to one you would find in a pedal operated trash can. Cleat Buddy has applications across the sporting world and beyond; baseball, football, golf, lacrosse, even cross country can use Cleat Buddy. It can also be used in the professional world, being used to scrape mud off of work boots on construction sites or even in the home so floor stays nice and clean.
