Cliff of Chaos - Magic Tracks, Neo Tracks, etc

thingiverse

Welcome to the Cliff of Chaos! Climb the Cliff of Chaos and drive across the "rope bridge" to avoid making a splash in the deep, rapid waters. Check it out here: https://youtu.be/jpJmlUkhDe0 I had to modify this design several times to make the both sides of the cliff stay put while the cars drive across. The water and pillars do a good job of keeping everything in place. I made the pillars very slightly taller to hopefully eliminate the little bit of movement that can be seen in the video on the right cliff. Print Instructions: Bridge MUST be printed at 0.1 mm height. It is okay to make the first layer height 0.2 mm for better adhesion. It is possible 0.15 mm will work just as well, but I have never tried. If you try it, make sure the first layer height is 0.15 or 0.3 mm. Print the bridge with 100% infill. I printed everything else at 0.2 mm with 2 shells and 10% infill. The cliffs require support for the section that the magic tracks connect to. No other support is required for the other pieces. I did swap out filaments when I printed the pillars. Pause the height at 8.0 mm if you would like to change filaments for the writing. Things to Print: 2 ramps 2 pillars 1 bridge 1 water 1 water bank This is my largest design yet now that I am no longer restricted by the MP Mini's small print bed size. The water bank is the largest piece with the dimensions of 211 x 108 x 11 mm. Feel free to ask any questions. Enjoy!
