Hello all!Today I have something extraterrestrially new for you - EGGBERT - a "clingon (Easter) Egg"! Of course, EGGBERT is just a kind of 'outdoor wind toy in the shape of an egg' - completely harmless. My idea was to build a simple colourful gift for Easter. I found the solution on my balcony. A small, two-coloured Ugrinsky rotor has been there for some time and does a good job.So I copied the outline of this rotor and cut it with the siluette of a 75mm high egg. Some small stuff, cut into two parts and the Eggbert was ready. If you want to print the egg yourself, have a look at the files with the attachment PRINT. There you can see a support structure built in CAD that worked well with my printer. You can also see this in the 2 pictures that look like the futuristic buildings by Zaha Hadid. Then you need a strip of aluminium, wood or plastic with a small hole. Stick this strip between the two halves of the egg (PLA doesn't stick well, so I 'invented' this part). Attach the thread and your first clingon egg is ready to take off. . !Oh, in the download you will find a short video in which you can see how the whole thing works. And now have fun, reality is serious enough.7027 from Berlin
