This is a Remix of theroar's awesome snap on filament guide. Credit goes to him and check out his great stuff at https://www.thingiverse.com/theroar/about and his youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCCn4KZHC7_8MpyVCVfdwYAw Plug over, I liked the idea of having your filament lowered for a more direct feed and to get the weight off the top, see https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2967567 However after this mod the filament guide I was using was no longer relevant. Using Tinkercad I changed up theroar's filament guide v7 to move the bearing down so the filament would roll over the top. It works great! You will need a 608 bearing which snaps on relatively easily, as well as a guide on the bearing. I used the filament_bearing_v2.stl found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3047572 and it works perfectly Sorry it's not pretty, I'm just now learning how to edit and create models but it is functional. The built in support that the original author created is present and snaps off easily once printed. I personally printed at 50% infill but you could probably do less Thank you!
