Clip On Monitor - #DesktopFusion Challenge Submission The Clip On Monitor is a lightweight, USB-powered notification screen designed to alert you to an incoming notification without the need to pull out your phone to check. The Clip On Monitor is attached to the edge of a flatscreen monitor and keeps all notifications you recieve at eye-level. This keeps you in-workflow, letting urgent messages stay urgent, and allowing memes from your co-workers to be addressed at lunch. Each notification silently slides into the queue on the monitor's screen, keeping you on-task, and only bothered if you choose to be. Key features include * Pass-through OLED screen that displays your most current notifications * Clip to hold the device to standard flat computer monitors * Weather monitoring * Time and date display * Further customization to match your ideal workflow This design is very much a concept. All the parts are printable but will not function without appropriate electronic components and software. The design itself was inspired by contemporary faceted product design, along with the video game Deus Ex.
