Clip-on Vent Shelf

Okay, my wife says this is silly, but I know I will use these, so maybe someone else can benefit from it as well. I have a long commute and normally eat a granola bar for a snack while on my way to and from work. The problem is, it gets hot in the summer, especially in the car. The granola bars are melty and inedible after a hard day of work. I typically try to balance a granola bar on the vent and drive like a grandma, but I felt there must be another way! Enter the vent shelf. I used the clip from jgreene777's insulin pen vent clip (great idea by the way) and I designed the rest of the little shelf to fit my BMW 535xi. It should fit about any vent with enough width. I hope someone else finds it useful as well!
