Closet Pipe End Cap
thingiverse
My first Thing! This is a simple insertable end-cap for a metal pipe used as a closet rod for hang-up clothes. The file is scaled for a 7/8 inch inner diameter, so it will most likely need to be scaled. The scaling process is pretty simple if you use the following equation: x*(7/8 inch) = (desired inner diameter as a fraction), solve for "x" For example, if your pipe has an inner diameter of 1 5/32 inch, then the equation would be: > x * (7/8) = (37/32) > x = (8 * 37)/(7 * 32) > x ~= 1.321 So, 1.32ish would be your scaling factor in your printer software. Enjoy! :-)
