Clothing Buttons: Mother of Pearl Cathedral 'Rose' Window

<p>Inspired by round ‘rose’ cathedral windows, this clothing button contains a puck of imitation mother of pearl made by printing silk PLA on a glass bed with a hilbert curve as the first layer fill pattern. This was then coloured with pastel sharpies and set aside. The main button was printed with a wide brim and with a pause just before the lattice/window layers. The puck is inserted and the print completed. </p><p>I designed this in Inkscape and Fusion360 </p>
