<p>use the stencil provided to cut the basic shape of the auto trip out of 22Ga sheet steel.&nbsp;</p><p>(I find that leaving the center hole uncut until after the initial bends provides more even and straight bends, but requires more precise cutting.)&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>place bigger die on bottom with the sheet metal sandwiched between and smaller die on top. the wider edge of the auto trip should be bent with the curved side of the die.&nbsp;</p><p>using a hydraulic press or bench-top vice, compress the dies until the edges have been bent, reference pictures of the actual CMMG trip for what it should look like.&nbsp;</p><p>once the center hole of the trip has been cut, use a pair pf pliers to bend the tab in the middle back. it should be bent the opposite direction of die bends. (reference actual CMMG trip for visualization.)</p>
