CNC Clamp
thingiverse
I designed this clamp for my bargain-priced 3018 CNC mill that I received as a Christmas gift. The goal was to create something that securely holds stock and enables me to face an entire piece without worrying about the clamps getting damaged by the cutting head's movement. This design utilizes 1/4" x 20 x 1 1/2" bolts and corresponding nuts, along with M3 x 10mm cap head screws and nuts to secure it to the platform. The choice of hardware was driven by what I had available at the time; however, a future iteration might substitute M5 bolts for the 1/4" ones.
