CNC Cut Helmet Display Stand

We required a functional and attractive display to showcase Sandbox Helmets at trade shows and in retail stores. The main design requirement was to pack as flat as possible to ensure ease of transport and minimal shipping costs, as well as having the option to store the stand away during summer when the winter helmets are not in stock.Material expense and wastage was a concern, so each stand had to be CNC milled out of one whole sheet of plywood. It was finished with a router and sanded by hand, and coated with two layers of lacquer. The logo was laser cut from 3mm Acrylic and color-matched with blue Pantone vinyl that matched the brand's logo.
