CNC Machine Modification Parts for OX / OX Metal & Ooznest OX

I'm building my first CNC machine based around the well known and popular OX CNC. Early on in the planning stage I was inspired by the OX Metal & Ooznest OX variants. I really liked the concepts but not necessarily the solutions. For this reason, I've tried to incorporate similar concepts but with markedly different execution. I started with a commercially purchased OX kit (rails, plates, bolts etc) to which I added my own plates, fittings and hardware, much of it 3D printed. Being associated with my own build, the parts feature a really healthy dose of my own ideas and solutions. My overall plan is to make whatever I can using my 3D printer to get the CNC up and running. Once that occurs, I'll look at whatever can then be machined out of aluminium with a view to replacing (some of) the 3D printed parts. Generally parts follow these design strategies: - produce a lead-screw version of the OX - maximise the amount of usable volume within the workspace - allow better flexibility when fitting or using parts - add "advanced features" (at a later stage) - recover from any stupid decisions in the ordering process due to "senior moments" I've included a text file for more detailed descriptions of each part.
