CNC pen holders for Dewalt DWP611 mount

<p>Collection of failed and successful pen holders attached to my my Dewalt DWP611.</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>A collection of pen holders I've tried attached to a Dewalt DWP611 (see parent project for mount).</p> <p><em>This is a work in progress</em></p> <p>Currently, the v2 and v3 use two different sized bolts, side by side.</p> <p>All use 1 m3x8 to attach the holder to the router mount, and 1 m3x8 to hold the pen in place, and 1 or 2 rubber bands for downward pressure.</p> <p>V2 and 3 use a m5x50 and m6x50 bolt with 40mm of smooth shaft for the pen carriage to ride against. You can probably get around this weird requirement by splitting the parts in half, mirroring one, and welding back together.</p> <p>The V1 version works OK but has a lot of clearance/slop.</p> <p>v3 with the taller, vertical carriage works the best. The v2 angled carriage binds too much with upward/torque pressure.</p> <p>V3 will hold a larger variety of pens, up to a regular sharpie in diameter.</p> <p>If you'd (understandably) like to not need two different sized bolts, try slicing the model in half and mirroring one side to the other.</p>
