A ground-up redraw of this model, organizing the timeline much better and adding a couple of new features; cable management and home/limit switches. Both NEMA23 and NEMA34 size stepper motors or servos can be used without the need for adapters or spacers in most cases. This design uses 20mm profile rails and 20mm ballscrews. All previous updates have been incorporated into this new model.User parameters for X, Y and Z ball screw lengths are provided. Changing any of those parameters will adjust the overall router size. This was done because many DIY CNC routers are built around available parts and one of the parts that determines much of the rest of the machine size, is the length of the ball screws.Two spindles are included, a 2.2Kw water cooled type using 80mm mount from AvidCNC and a 2.2Kw air cooled square bodied type mounted on a tramming plate. The Protec spindle model was provided by GrabCad contributor CNC VelMart.
