These mounts do 2 things to improve on the CNC4N design. First, they are more stable and will accommodate larger drag chains. The second thing they do is position them better to allow chains to meet the MBR if the cables inside them and in the case of larger chains the chains themselves. This works very well for those who are watercooling or have a thick VFD cable going to their spindle. I did make a couple of changes to the Y mount. I don't like mechanical support pieces having 3d printed plastic providing mechanical grip. So I redesigned it to house M5 nuts for the screws to grip onto. This should improve the longevity of the parts. That being said, one of the three mounting holes is still plastic only. Second, I don't recall how long the screws are that came with the X mount, but my design calls for 45mm at minimum and preferably 50-55mm to secure the mount to the X carriage. M5 screws are used everywhere to match the original specifications
