This COAL TIPPLE is quite tall 10"+ (70' HO scale). The finished model looks complicated but is actually very easy to build. Cut away the cross braces for the conveyors. Some items will need some minor trimming to fit properly. Once the oversized corrugated roof pieces are printed trim off 1/8" to remove the hot head turn around blobs on the ends with a pair of sharp scissors. Use poster board for the bottoms of the small upper structure and the main hopper. Trim the false rafter ends to fit. I exclusively print with PLA and have found that ordinary clear lacquer thinner (Nail polish remover) is a wonderful glue. Make a small test for yourself of two pieces of printed scrap PLA and give it a try. Let sit for 20 seconds and then try to break it apart. It leaves no residue and is applied with a small brush. I've been using lacquer thinner as a glue on stryene and PLA for years. No sloppy or messy glue to show when finished.
