Cobblebot Endstop

Cobblebot Endstop

thingiverse

I quickly crafted an endstop for my cobblebot. After making a few adjustments, I finalized a design that effectively stopped motion. You can see it's mounted on the X and Y axis using a basic endstop mount from a cobblebot, which leaves room in the middle of one side to accommodate pins soldered onto the board. To use this with a Z endstop, you might need to flip the design over, but since I'm running auto bed leveling, I never got around to trying it out. I printed this on my K8200 3D printer using Simplify3D software for slicing, with a 60% infill pattern made up of hex shapes and a layer height of .2 millimeters. The end product is PLA. To secure the endstop, you'll need an M5 bolt to attach it to the 20x20 frame, along with two M3 bolts and nuts to fasten the endstop board in place. It's not fancy, but it gets the job done – I've even tested mounting it both ways successfully.
