Cobra HISS Mark-0 (Prototype). This model is a composite of the original design concepts that eventually became the Cobra H.I.S.S. tank. Interestingly, the vehicles shown in the early issues of the comic book shared some of these design features (the dual cockpit, for example), so presumably they were penciled at the same time the toy was being finalized. As the story goes, Destro built only one of these then settled on a less expensive design. In real life, this shape was eventually recycled to become the basis of the HISS Mark II tank design sold in 1989. It's modeled in full scale but is optimized for printing at 25%. Unless you stay in that range your print may have too much or too little detail. My finished model weighs 23 grams so it cost me about 48 cents for the material to print one. This file is free to download. Note that it is listed as non-commercial because this was copied from intellectual property that I do not own. As such neither you nor I are allowed to sell physical copies of this 3-D model. You are allowed (and encouraged) to print copies for your own personal use. ‘Makes’ are appreciated. By now you can figure out how to print these. Print the 'show' side up whenever possible and supports as needed. Guns are printed so the barrel is parallel to the build plate for greater strength. Tracks are printed with the "hubcaps" up. Much respect and gratitude to past and present members of our Armed Forces. You are the “Real American Heroes” and your sacrifice allows people like me to live in peace, freedom and make silly little toys like these.
