The Cora Style Filler Cap comes in 5 versions. Logo, non logo as well as threaded, stem and flat versions. This unique filler cap earned its name from the shape of the filler cap opening handle. The logo version has its logo recessed on the cap to still maintain a round profile. Similar to the filler cap in the first “Special Vehicles” collection there is more than one way of mounting it. If you don’t want to drill a hole in your RC body, there’s a flat version which can just be glued on. However for more strength on the trail where it gets rough, there is a smooth stem version and a M3 threaded version which requires drilling a hole. But this can be more securely mounted in place. The threaded version requires a M3 nut to be screwed on from the inside of the body. As the “1/10” scale is more of a loose standard, feel free to scale up or down in your slicer to fit your own rig, if necessary. However do keep in mind with the threaded version, the metric pitch will not be standard anymore and will likely not be able to thread a nut on. Same with all of our other print files, it is highly recommended to print only with a resin printer to achieve the maximum amount of details, and do remember to wear PPE. Post processing is the same with our other products. Use a spray primer depending on your resin type, then either spray paint or hand paint with model paints to your own liking. Top it off with thin coats of UV-proof clear spray.
