To motivate my student (software)-developers, I introduced a trophy for this one, who successfully closed the most tickets within one week. Within the weekly meeting, the new owner was then allowed to put his crone on top of the trophy to claim his property. When a developer left the team, he takes the crone with him to have some kind of souvenir. This worked surprisingly well, even so for the long run I missed some kind of stats, who owned the trophy most of the time etc. I added the crones with the names I had.
