This is a counter top coffee filter container with a filter picker.

The container holds the basket type coffee filters for 8-12 cup coffee makers.

It holds up to 100 filters in an upright position.

Previously I designed a container for inverted storage which you can find here.

2/1/2019 - I have now used both the inverted and upright coffee filter storage containers. The upright container has become my favorite. The filters are easier to separate and pick up; and storing the picker inside the container is very convenient.

Print Settings

Printer:

HyperCube Evolution

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

.2

Infill:

20%

Notes:

The container is printed with PLA.
The lid is printed upside down so that support is not necessary and if printed on glass will give the top a glossy finish.
The picker can be printed with PLA but it's preferable to print with PETG.

The PLA version will lose some spring after a few uses and will continue to deteriorate over time until the nibs do not spring open sufficiently for use.

I have been using the PETG version for over a month and it is performing well.

Post-Printing

The picker is designed to hold two pencil eraser tips.

Category: Kitchen & Dining
