Coffin and coffin board of the Lady Tanakhtnettahat from the Charlotte Lichirie Collection of Egyptian Art, Michael C. Carlos Museum, Emory University, Atlanta, GA (acc. no. 1999.1.17,a-c). This coffin and coffin board were made for the burial of the Lady Tanakhtnettahat who was a chantress in the temple of Amun at Karnak, Egypt who lived during the 21st Dynasty. At some point during Dyn. 21, the coffin was modified with the names of Tanakhtnettahat being erased and replaced with those of a woman named Ta-Aset who is most likely the mummy recovered inside the coffin. The bottom of the coffin, interior of the bottom, and the interior and foot of the lid were not available for scanning and have been false textured here. The mummy contained in the coffin is not an actual scan of Ta-Aset’s mummy, but was created in Blender and textured using an image from a mummy from the same time period at the Field Museum of Chicago. Created from 382 photographs (Canon EOS Rebel T5i) using Metashape 1.5.1.
