Coilover C spanner

Coilover C spanner

I wanted to adjust the height of my coilovers, and, i have no spanners. BUT, i do have a 3d printer! And so the designing began. I havent actually tried to adjust the height, and i have doubt they will be strong enough to wind the collar up, but down shouldnt be a problem (i have been using a monkey wrench, and its quite hard with that even (winding up that is, the car does weigh 1800kg though)) but for someone with a light car, this might work, and, if u do your own aluminium casting, you can cast this in ally and have a very strong c-spanner! i may upload a couple different sizes if this version is too small for the height adjusting collar, but it is a good size for the locking collar on my tanabe sustec pro coilovers. Print Settings Printer: CTC dual extruder Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: .3mm Infill: 60% Notes: used linear infill in makerbot desktop 3.8 the raft is there to help stop warping due to its length, would also recommend not using cooling fan. used 3 shells for added strength, can go higher if u find it isnt strong enough still.
