A coincidence rangefinder was a type of rangefinder that used mechanical and optical principles to allow an operator to determine the distance to a visible object. Coincidence rangefinders were important elements of fire control systems for long-range naval guns, land-based coastal artillery, and anti-aircraft guns during the World War Two The device consists of a long tube, with two lenses facing forwards at each end, and an operator eyepiece in the center. Two prism wedges which, when aligned result in no deviation of the light, are inserted into the light path of one of the two lenses. By rotating the prisms in opposite directions using a differential gear, a degree of horizontal displacement of the image can be achieved. 3D MODEL GENERAL INFO The model was created based on blueprints, photos and historical documentation. It was created with precision in detail and in real units of measurement to be a faithful digital reproduction of the original. The object has been modeled in Lightwave and finished and texturized in 3DCoat. LIGHTWAVE 2018 and BLENDER 2.79 - UV model with uv material assigned OBJ and FBX - model with UV maps. You may need to reassign textures when open the files with different software. The object has one UV map assigned. 4K color, normal, roughness, metalness, specular and occlusion textures included For any difficult or question I am always available to give you assistance. I would be very grateful if any of my models could help you to do a great job.
