Cold Shoe

Cold Shoe

thingiverse

This is a remix of the Sabot flash cold shoe. I had to resize the slot for the 1/4-20 nut because the ones I found were too tall for the original design. I also had to shorten the base by about 1.5 mm so that it would fit in the anti-twist plate for my Stroboframe. One more thing I did as an experiment was to combine parts 1 and 2 of the original design in order to avoid the glue step, and it worked well. Part 3, the plug for the nut, is a snug fit, and does not need gluing, although you may if you wish. I printed this in both PLA and carbon fiber, and it came out well in both, although I prefer the look and feel of the carbon fiber finish. Your mileage may vary.
