This is a sharing of my personal models and are tailored for my own needs. As such, it may not be the final product you are looking for. However, you are welcome to use these as reference/inspiration for your own projects. ** I might update this model in the future to make it better so its not finalized ** Purpose: To create a baseline for future models and print settings for collapsible sword/baton designs. More information: After some inspiration 3DPRINTINGWORLD, this is my own experiment on modelling and 3d printing collapsible batons. They are printed separately and assembled. To achieve the the desired extension of the baton, slicer settings are changed. To assemble ( VIDEO IS INCLUDED IN ZIP FILE): 1) Using settings provided or at high quality presets, print each pieces separately. 2) Take the 2nd and 3rd rod. 3) Point the solid flat side of the 3rd rod into the hole of the 2nd rod and slide(DO NOT FORCE) the 3rd rod into the 2nd rod's hole. If it does not slide all the way through, slide through from the other side of the 2nd rod. If correctly oriented, the 3rd rod will slide through the 2nd and protrude halfway. 4) Take the combined 2nd and 3rd rods, repeat step 3 by sliding it through the 1st rod. 5) Take the Combined rods and slide it though the the handle. Just like the other rods, if it does not slide through, the handle is oriented wrongly. To correct this, reorientate the handle or the rods and try again until the rods protrudes halfway. 6) Cap the end. You may use adhesive if you wish.
