COLLAPSING DAGGER (PRINT IN PLACE)

COLLAPSING DAGGER (PRINT IN PLACE)

prusaprinters

This collapsing dagger is designed to be printed as one part. Its only 130mm high when printed and the blade extends to 260mm long!

The sword is designed to be printed with a ,4mm nozzle, so the blade will be two shells thick. I had weird issues with blobs and zits at retraction which I normally don't have until I turned on "wipe" and "coast", I'm still using S3D.... Detailed printing instructions can be found on my website.

I think this is a result of the thin walls with a narrow amount of clearance between the blade segments. I had good luck with .15mm coast and 3mm wipe, on my MK3.

Included is a test print file. Use this to confirm that your segments don't stick together and that you have a thickness .85mm.

Check out my prints for other versions of these collapsing swords and lightsabers.

Here's a link to the Mystic Brown Prusament I used to make the dagger. If its in stock buy it because it wont be for long...

Support and Licensing
If you would like to help support more free models, or get permission to sell physical copies of my models, consider joining my Patreon.
