collar for an Ikea karlso parasol

A friend's Ikea Karlso parasol has lost its center button, causing the entire thing to collapse due to lack of stability. To rectify this issue, a collar is designed to slip snugly over the parasol pole above the central control mechanism that regulates the angle of the parasol, thereby keeping it upright at all times. To secure the collar in place, one would drill a hole through the center of the parasol and then through the collar itself. A carriage bolt and wing nut are then threaded through the collar and pole to ensure the parasol remains stable and upright. This solution is still a work-in-progress. Printing this design in ABS with 100% infill will provide maximum strength and durability. However, if using PLA instead, it's crucial to print with a raft to prevent the delicate design from detaching from the print bed. ABS prints may also require a raft for optimal stability. The estimated printing time for this design is approximately four hours and twelve minutes.
