Chapel Sculptural Details Meuse-Argonne American Cemetery, near the town of Romagne-sous-Montfaucon in Northeastern France, is being documented for the American Battle Monuments Commission by a team of Historic American Landscapes Survey architects and historians. The sculptures were created by architects York & Sawyer in consultation with their model makers, Ricci & Zari of New York. On-site artisans referred to full-size plaster models when carving these features in situ.
