Column Chess Set

I was fiddling around designing game pieces for my print and play games on the weekends, and when I showed them off at game night, they thought I was crafting a chess set so naturally I did create one. The pawn in this set sparked the idea for the entire collection, and I enlarged it to develop the other pieces with a cohesive theme. I built all the models using Tinkercad's tools, relying on Shape Generator scripts - specifically "Twisted Polygon" for the column part and "Wavy Topped Cylinder" for the tops of each piece. The beauty lies in their geometric wave design, allowing you to stack the pawns head-to-head in a peculiarly pleasing way. The most challenging piece to create was the Knight, which is essentially half of a bishop's head cut up and reassembled somehow. I think it turned out pretty well and fits perfectly with the overall theme.
